Friday, June 15

Well, I have about 10 minutes to update you so I will just be brief.  I am sorry I'm having trouble uploading photos at the minute.  I left my computer running all day yesterday trying to upload only to come back that night and find it didn't work.  I will try again later today.

All the kids are doing great.  The sickness seems to have vanished completely and all are well.  This morning most of the group has been working on the school work site while we took the Machakos team of about 20 over to the School for Disabled.  It was a wonderful time with the students.  We had a quick stop off to pick up samosas from our favorite restaurant T. Tots.

Now we are dividing up into about 10 teams to head to various schools to share testimonies and evangelize.  Please pray for boldness for our students who will be sharing and that God would give them the words to say.

Today, we have to say goodbye to Jon's cousin, Steve Wolcott, who will be heading back to the Congo area.  He has been a huge blessing to our group and it has been wonderful having him along this year.

Tomorrow, two teams will be leaving to head out to Kajiado and Nakuru.  Jon and I will be escorting the Nakuru team.  On Monday, the Thika team will leave and Jon and I will head over to be with them for a day and a half, and then travel out to be with the Kajiado team.  From the various locations, we will all meet up and head to the Safari together.  I have a person from each team assigned to update the blog each day from each group.

I will try to upload some photos and more information later tonight if I can get on the internet.  But if not, please know that all are doing well and having a great time of ministry.

Sincerely,

Jenni Millet for the group

  1. Tell Jon I'm still waiting for my T. Tots t-shirt, but I'll settle for a samosa. Think it will keep for a couple of weeks? Aw, just kidding. Praying for you guys!
